“Rosanne Bane understands not only the resistance all writers face but the neurological basis of that resistance. Her ingenious application of research about our brains to the process of writing and her wise counsel overall can help writers at every level.”
Ralph Keyes, author of
The Courage to Write and
The Writer’s Book of Hope

More testimonials for Rosanne’s book
“I’d written a fairly successful book, then sunken into some sort of weird literary malaise where sorting socks was always more important than writing. Rosanne helped me define the problem, then helped me work (and it was work) my way out of it. Whether you’re a new or seasoned writer, she has much to offer.”
Spike Carlsen, Author of
A Splintered History of Wood and Woodworking FAQ

“Rosanne taught me to make writing a habit, and I write every day now, and have for two years. Writer's block is not an issue anymore. Rosanne also helped me to discover that what I really wanted was to write a novel. She helped me discover my heart. I would recommend her classes and services to anyone.”
Eileen Peterson, Published Writer and Aspiring Novelist

May I Join Your Group?

PictureRosanne's book
If your writer’s group, creativity support group or professional association has six or more people, I’d be delighted to design a presentation or workshop just for you.

Your contact person and I will discuss what creativity problems your group wants to solve, what creativity strengths your group wants to enhance and what topics interest you. I can work with your group in person or via Skype.

Common reasons to meet with me include, but are not limited to:

  • Someone in your group has read Around the Writer’s Block and wants to work through the chapters and exercises as a group.
  • People in your group struggle with resistance and you want to learn how to help each other recognize and respond effectively to the subtle variations of resistance.
  • You want to learn to motivate each other and yourselves.
  • Your group is tired of saying “That’s okay” to each other’s excuses. You want to challenge yourselves as individuals and allies to be and do your best.
  • Your group has lost focus and you’ve become more of a social gathering than a creativity support group. You want to clarify your group’s mission and goals and set up systems to keep you all accountable and on task.
Contact me for more information about my availability and how I can tailor a presentation for your group.
